This is an illustration about how certain facial features in men can affect how we percieve them as trustworthy or not. Studies show that men with brown eyes are deemed as more trustworthy than men with blue eyes.
In this piece I had a clear idea in my head of how I wanted it to look, but no idea as to how I would approach it. So I experimented more as I have been doing as of late with digital layering. I played with layers of charcoal, and ink textures on top of a painting done separately. I love to play, and what I've found in using the computer is that I can create those happy accidents with the permission to feel free and safe when things take a turn for the worse. Enjoy!
